Our experience with E&S Builders has been nothing short of amazing. Deciding to renovate an old 1970’s Paradise Valley ranch home, we heard horror stories from friends about shady contractors, ballooning budgets and protracted timelines with other contractors. Therefore, we anticipated a nightmare. However, our experience with E&S was nothing like this. In fact, it was one of the most well planned, thoroughly thought out, and gratifying experiences.
After interviewing several builders for our gut renovation, we hired E &S Builders in the Spring of 2019. From the very beginning, we were struck by their incredible level of professionalism and focus on detail. Our contractor, Jason Easterly, was fantastic. When he came into our home for the first time, he not only listened to our needs and requests, but unlike a lot of other contractors we had interviewed, he offered innovative solutions to optimize the project and improve the resulting functionality and aesthetics. Jason was not afraid to offer his honest opinion based on years of experience in the field. Based on his expertise, we were well guided in making sound decision weighing all the risks and benefits throughout the project.
Jason foresaw nearly every eventuality, complication, and potential hurdle. There was really nothing that he didn’t plan for or have a contingency plan for if it were to happen. The actual costs of the renovation were nearly identical to the initial estimate that we were quoted (this small discrepancy was a result of our decision to add a few projects and change some finishes in the home).
The oversight of the project, was phenomenal as well. Our project manager, Jeff, was one of the most detail oriented individuals we have ever met. Both my wife and I are doctors. Because of our work, we have to pay a great deal of attention to minute details to the point of at times being a bit obsessive compulsive. Jeff provided that same incredible level of detail and care to our project. He managed the subcontractors well and the project progressed extremely efficiently. Jeff went out of his way to communicate with us every step of the way, reducing any anxiety regarding the project.
Overall, our experience with E & S Builders has been PHENOMENAL! I can’t speak highly enough of their team. They are professional, reliable, honest, and detail oriented. We would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for any future projects.
After having a really bad experience with a contractor in the past we were hesitant to begin a “whole house” remodel. We decided to ask more questions and do more research this time around. E & S was one of the companies we kept hearing amazing things about from other people so we decided to go with them over others. We could tell they were on top of things and very professional in their approach right from the beginning. My husband has been through many commercial new builds and office build-outs through his work and we felt like the E&S approach was more like a commercial contractor the way they were set up and organized. They were not the cheapest, but in our experience you get what you pay for. They started on time, cleaned every day, kept us up to date, and finished on time and even posted updates throughout the project on instagram which was really fun to watch. While they were a little more than the other bids, money is not as valuable as time and they were so good we didn’t have to stop what we were doing to babysit/check up on them. They just got everything done, the right way from the get go, and it looked amazing in the end. We wasted probably over 50+ hours with another “cheaper” contractor from a previous remodel and it cost us way more in time. Having a great contractor will lower your stress and and in the end will allow you to do you. Do yourself a favor and pick someone excellent like E & S. Then go to work, play, spend time with your family and friends and let them do their job. We promise you will not be disappointed!!!
Emily and I first were exposed to E&S Builders as we would ride our bikes through our extended neighborhood. On several occasions we watched a spec home going up and were impressed in the design, exterior finishes and how fast things progressed. We googled the company and started the conversations with Jason and from the beginning he was professional and respectful to our questions and needs. He was no pressure and recommended us to an architect he uses. From here the process went smoother than we could have hoped for. E&S Builders under promised and over delivered our dream home on budget and on time! In fact they delivered the home 6 weeks earlier than expected. We have since referred Jason and Matt to two different friends and will continue to do so. If you want your dream home built correctly, expeditiously and on budget, call them. Throughout the construction process they were there to answer our questions or address our concerns. We honestly can not say enough as to how they made one of the most stressful events a marriage can endure go smoothly. The house E&S Built is our dream home and we are thankful for them being our partner throughout the process.

E & S did a major 2200 sqft addition to our property and a remodel of the entire 6000 sqft to match. Jason was very patient with us for 5 years while we went back and forth with different civil engineers to get a G&D plan approved with the City. The wait was worth it! The new house exceeded our expectations. It was completed on time and on budget in the middle of a global pandemic. E & S was very upfront about cost and margins and we felt like we got a good deal for quality work. I would highly recommend E & S builders for your next project!
